Ginger is about 4 years old and weighs in around 17 lbs. She was found in a rough spotāa noted dumping ground in Modesto, CAābefore a determined rescuer stepped in to help her and another dog reach safety at the shelter. Early on, Ginger was understandably nervous and pretty shut down, but it didnāt take long for her soft nature to peek through. With some patient handling, she opened up to staff, slowly revealing the sweet side sheād been hiding. Gingerās had puppies before, but that chapter is in the past. Sheās an easygoing girl who enjoys people and fits in well with other dogs. Now that she has a clean slate, Gingerās ready to keep building trust and confidence in a calm, patient home.
