About Nova

Animal Information: Nova is a sweet 25-pound Chihuahua mix who found herself at risk in Stanislaus Modesto. Our shelter partners reached out to advocate for this little lady, and after watching her videos, we knew we had to help. Nova is estimated to be about 3 years old and is friendly with other dogs and people. She can be a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take long before she’s asking for affection. Foster Profile: Nova has been thriving in her Seattle foster home, showing just how sweet and resilient she truly is. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take long for her warm personality to shine through—before you know it, she’s making new friends and winning hearts. She’s a social girl who enjoys spending time with other dogs, often inviting them to play with her adorable “happy bows.” Nova has even joined her foster mom at work, where she calmly hangs out by the front desk, taking in the world around her. Like many dogs, Nova has a touch of FOMO and may let you know when she’s first settling into her crate, but she quickly relaxes and settles in. She walks nicely on leash and blossoms into a playful, affectionate companion once she feels comfortable. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).
