Hi, my name is Dio. I was rescued from the street by a prior adopter when my owner moved away and left me behind. I was mainly an outdoor cat, in rough shape with a bad case of mange and several intestinal parasites. It took over a month, but I am now a different cat. The mange and the parasites are all gone, and I am looking and feeling good. I may be a little shy when I first meet you, but I am a friendly, sociable boy looking for a safe, indoor home where I will be loved and cared for forever. Dio is FIV+. Despite what many people think, cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives, and it is not contagious. It cannot be transmitted from cat to cat by sharing food, water, or litter boxes.
