When he first arrived at SBACC, he was in rough shape, missing patches of fur, dealing with an ear infection, and an awful itchiness that made him look like he was fighting an uphill battle. 🌧️ After some TLC, it was discovered that Ted's itchy woes weren’t from mange as initially thought, but rather from mysterious allergies. Our sweet boy also had to undergo surgery to remove part of his ears, a common concern for cats like him with white ears and, yes, he wears it cutely! 🐱✨ You see, Ted is not just any ordinary cat; his journey has only made him more lovable. He is also FIV+, which sounds a lot scarier than it really is!❗ FIV doesn’t mean the end for him. In fact, many cats with FIV live long, happy lives. It's not contagious either—sharing a meal or a cozy little nap won't spread it, so there's no need to worry about that. Now, after months of healing, special diets, and some medication for his allergies, Ted's looking fantastic! His fur shines like the sun, and his ears are all healed up. 🌟 He’s a friendly boy who truly enjoys the company of petting hands and cozy cuddles. While he’s been rooming with another cat, they’re not exactly best friends, but they get along just fine.
