About Ted
Click apply to start the adoption process. Ted is a feline survivor with a heartwarming story. Once hiding under a car and fending for himself on the streets, Ted has shown great courage and resilience. When he arrived at the shelter, he was in rough condition—missing fur patches, battling an ear infection, and suffering from relentless itchiness. However, with dedicated care, it was discovered that his issues stemmed from mysterious allergies, not mange. He even underwent surgery to remove part of his ears, a common occurrence for white-eared cats, and now sports his look with undeniable charm. Adding to his uniqueness, Ted is FIV+. While this may sound intimidating, FIV is not contagious through everyday contact, and many FIV+ cats live full, happy lives. Ted’s spirit has only grown stronger through his journey. After months of healing and a special diet, Ted is looking fantastic with shiny fur and healed ears. He’s a friendly and affectionate companion, enjoying gentle petting and cuddles. Ted has lived peacefully with another cat, though he’d be happiest as your one-and-only or with a quiet feline roommate who values his personal space. Now, Ted is eager to give and receive love in a forever home, hoping for a new family to share his next happy chapter. Make his dream come true—take the first step and apply to meet this incredible boy today. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
