About Wednesday
Wednesday came to the rescue at just five weeks old, after being found with her brothers hiding in bushes at an industrial complex. They were dirty, flea-ridden, and sick, but a caring foster home nursed them back to health and gave them a safe place to grow. Wednesday, unlike her siblings, was especially shy from the start, often hiding and unsure of her surroundings. She needed extra patience and time, moving to a new foster where she gently warmed up to people. Over time, she became more comfortable coming out for meals and was okay being petted or picked up, though she relaxes slowly and still prefers a gentle approach. Wednesday is a striking, panther-like black cat with a velvety coat. She isn't a fan of her hindquarters or tail being touched, and she responds best to calm people who avoid direct eye contact and allow her to come forward at her own pace. A quiet home with little noise and plenty of patience will suit her. She will do best if she has another kitten or young cat for company—she feels safer that way. Once she trusts you, Wednesday will give all her love without limits. Every animal’s journey needs the right person. Think you are the one? Submit an application!
