Mochi had a bit of a bumpy start. He first came to SBACC as a tiny six-week-old kitten, and after being adopted at three months, he lived for about a year with two other cats. Although Mochi got along with his feline roommates, he stayed shy and skittish around people. His adopters felt he needed a quieter home and brought him back, hoping he’d find the right fit. He’s had a slow time adjusting back into the rescue environment, spending much of it quietly hiding, but he’s finally beginning to relax and settle in. Mochi will do best in a calm home with an adopter willing to give him space, patience, and time—he’ll need a gentle environment to rebuild his confidence.
