About Loki
Loki found himself back at Defenders after his previous owner couldn’t care for him anymore, and it’s clear he’s not comfortable in the shelter setting. Underneath his worried look is a dog who bonds quickly and deeply—every caretaker who’s had time with Loki remarks on how kind and trusting he is once he knows you. Despite his nerves, Loki welcomes affection and settles into new relationships faster than you’d expect. He’s shown that he can get along with other dogs, especially those about his own size, but shelter stress has made him a little tense around his canine neighbors. Any meet-and-greet with potential dog siblings is important to ensure everyone gets along. Loki does not get along with cats. He’s house trained, used to being a part of a household, and ready for someone who can give him the stability he’s missing now. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
