About Manny

When the rescue team spotted Manny in Georgia, he looked every bit the beefcake—stocky, energetic, and impossible to ignore. Pulled from a crowded shelter to keep him safe, Manny turns out to be a lovable goofball still clinging to that infectious puppy bounce (and, yes, some puppy habits). It’s best to expect some basic training is in order; he’s quick to learn and usually hungry for a treat, so he’ll catch on fast with a bit of consistency. Morning runs out of his kennel get him zooming with pure joy, and you can’t miss the expressive honesty in his face. At his prior shelter he did fairly well with select dogs, but lately he’s shown too much excitement—or outright reactivity—around other dogs. For now, he’s best as the only dog in the home. He’s good with older kids, but his size and unfiltered enthusiasm make him a bit much for little ones. Manny is affectionate to his core, and just wants someone who’ll take the lead and guide him. With structure and advocacy, he’s bound to become someone’s dream companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
