Hi, I'm Rambo-a 54-pound Husky mix with a gentle, sensitive soul. Right now, the shelter feels like a pretty overwhelming place for me, and I can be shy and a bit on edge. I tend to feel more comfortable outside where I can sniff, explore, and take things in at my own pace. Being indoors can make me anxious, so I might pace or seem unsure of what to do. I haven't quite shown all of my personality yet, but I promise there's a very sweet girl in here-I've even shared a few soft moments, leaning in for pets and giving some gentle kisses when I start to feel safe. I know I'll need time and patience to truly open up, and I may not fully bond until I'm settled into a loving home. A calm, quiet environment will help me feel secure so I can build confidence and adjust at my own pace. I'd really benefit from continued socialization and gentle encouragement to help me grow. I came in with my friend Precious, and we'd love to go home together if possible, but if not, having another friendly dog around might help me feel more at ease. With kindness, understanding, and a little time, I know I can blossom into a loyal and loving companion. My adoption fee of $225+tax covers the cost of my care and stay here at the humane society.
