Hi, I'm Pot Pie-a 49-pound Red Heeler mix with a big personality and even bigger energy! I'm an active, rambunctious girl who's always ready to go, go, go. I came in with my buddy Chunk, and while we handled some time apart just fine, we'd probably love going home together if the opportunity came along. I'm a very happy and sweet girl, but I can get so excited that I forget my manners sometimes. I'm still working on things like not jumping up on people, and when I get overstimulated or see treats involved, I can get a little nippy in my excitement. Because I'm a working-breed mix, I need a home that truly understands my energy level and the importance of keeping both my body and mind busy. I'd thrive in an active household that can provide lots of exercise, adventures, training, and mental stimulation to help me be my best self. I may be a bit too much for small kids because of my enthusiastic play style, but with the right guidance and structure, I know I'll make an amazing companion.
