🐶 Basics Sneezy, Sneezy Weezy, Sneezelberry Age / Size: 8-10 year female, 45 pounds Rescued in Texas Foster note: Sneezy has settled in so well. She gets these really cute bursts of energy and zooms around or will throw her toy up in the air and try to catch it. She loves kisses from our other dogs as well! She doesn’t really seem interested in the couch or the beds but loves to lay on the floor near everyone! Sneezy is so sweet and calm and wants to be part of the family. 💛 Personality Snapshot Describe in 3–5 words: Curious, sweet, gentle Energy level (Low / Moderate / High): moderate- she loves to gallop around the backyard, but does tire somewhat quickly More people‑oriented or independent? She seems more independent, but is adjusting well to her surroundings and getting used to responding to her name! How do they handle new situations? Sneezy is very curious and loves to explore and smell her new surroundings! 🐕 Social & Home Life How are they with people (adults/kids/new people)? Sneezy does not seem bothered by any people. She takes some encouraging to come over and get pets. How are they with other dogs? Sneezy is excited to meet other dogs and will go in for the full sniff. Behavior when left alone or when guests visit: Sneezy is good left in her crate when alone. 🎓 Training & Manners Potty trained? Yes Crate trained? Yes Leash skills: walks well on the leash. She loves to stop and sniff! Commands known (if any): not sure yet!! 🌞 Daily Life Typical day with you: Sneezy loves to roam around and will come lay with you on the couch while you watch TV! She love to be outside and go for walks/ runs. Exercise needs: we go for walks and then run around the backyard. Favorite activities or toys: walks 🌱 Growth Areas Anything they’re still working on? Sneezy is working on responding to her name! She loves cheese so that is helping!! She is a little hesitant to go down stairs, but will when encouraged. She's likely never seen them before. What helps them succeed? Sneezy benefits from patience and sitting close to her until she warms up. 🏡 Ideal Home Only dog / With dog / Either: Sneezy has been nice and approachable around our other dogs. She is sometimes startled by the other dogs being loud or jumping around near her but she is not having any other negative reactions and seems to be getting used to everyone well! Good fit for apartment living? Sneezy would definitely benefit from less stairs so she would definitely need an elevator if there are many stairs. Best type of household (active, moderate, calm): Sneezy would probably prefer a calmer environment with somewhere to run around outside. She loves to watch what’s going on out the window. What kind of adopter would be the best match? Someone who would like a companion to sit with them while they’re working or lounging around the house.
