Jack is a 2-year, 2-month-old male Labrador Retriever with a striking black coat who is currently in New York, NY. He is neutered and has his vaccinations up to date. Jack is large in size and, after an old leg injury, now gets around just fine on three legs. He has no special needs at this time.

About Jack

Jack was found limping by the side of a road in St. Lucia, scared and thin. After being brought to safety at the HelpAWS sanctuary, he showed an incredible gentleness despite everything he’d endured. The vet discovered an old fracture in Jack’s back right leg, and removal was the best option for his comfort. He made a smooth recovery and has adjusted well to life on three legs—still eager to trust and connect. Jack loves people and thrives on human attention. In the shelter, he's been a bit particular about other dogs. A home where he can be the only dog will probably suit him best. He’s also likely to be more comfortable in a quieter home without young kids. Give Jack a chance to start over in a home of his own. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
