About Griffin
Griffin is a gentle, steady soul looking for his second chance at comfort and belonging. Loyal to the core, Griffin thrives on being close to his people and soaks up affection easily. At roughly 76 lbs, he carries himself well and would benefit from an adopter to join him on daily strolls as he works on slimming down—he's an ideal walking partner, especially if treats are involved. House trained and quick to pick up on commands like sit, stay, paw, wait, and down, Griffin is treat-motivated and eager to please. He rides well in the car, naps contentedly in his crate, and loves parading around with his favorite stuffed toys. Griffin has survived real hardship: after being attacked by a group of dogs and abandoned at the shelter, he is wary around other dogs. He does best as the only pet and needs a relaxed, understanding home. With patience, he redirects easily and shows progress each day. He previously lived with cats and is known for a gentle nature, with no bite or food aggression history. He enjoys meeting children and is quick to warm up to praise and gentle touches. Griffin is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to settle in with a family willing to value his loyal companionship. A survivor who starts each day with hope, Griffin just wants a home to call his own and someone who won’t give up on him. Give him the chance to show what he can offer—a steady presence, a loving heart, and plenty of cuddles. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
