About Moon
Moon is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever and Saluki mix who survived a rough start in Kuwait. She was rescued after a poisoning attempt left her with lasting vision impairment, and though she recovered some of her sight, her world stays a little blurry. She likes a structured home and builds confidence from clear routines. Her first adopter in Canada realized too late that Moon needed more predictability, causing stress for everyone. After that, Moon spent six months at a board and train home, learning how to keep her cool and trust her environment again. She gets on well with other dogs but genuinely prefers to be the only dog in her home. Moon has no time for rowdy, unpredictable environments—young children just aren’t a fit. She thrives under the care of people who understand her need for structure and can keep up the training methods she knows. Her trainer will help every step of the way if you want to give Moon a fresh start. Her adoption fee is $500. This could be the start of something paw-some.

Questions about Moon
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Moon, as a Labrador Retriever and Saluki mix, is best suited for an environment with structure and clear routines. A calm, stable home will help her feel secure, especially with her vision impairment.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Moon's mix of breeds generally enjoys having space to roam, but with her vision challenges, she will benefit most from a secure yard or regular supervised walks in familiar places.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Moon would not do well in a home with young children due to her need for structure and predictable environments. Her breed types can be family dogs, but her specific needs rule out busy homes with kids.
