Kena, our friend at City of Raytown Animal Services, would appreciate your help with introductions to the good things in life. Things like pup cups, toys, car rides, a home of her own, a cozy place to sleep at night (inside), people who think she's beautiful and tell her what a good girl she is, and someone who loves her to the moon and back every single day. Kena's ready to learn how to be a dog, a spoiled one! Kena is around 3 years old and 50 pounds. Despite enduring neglect for the first chapter of her life, Kena is a very sweet girl and wants so much to be loved. She's great with other dogs after a proper introduction (doesn't everyone appreciate a proper intro to new friends?). She'll do best in an adult-only home or one with older children; the little kids scare her. She is doing well walking on a leash, keeps her kennel clean (we don't know for sure whether she's housetrained, but this is a good indicator that she either is already housetrained or will be more easily trained).
