Panda is an American Bulldog mix with striking face markings reminiscent of a real panda bear. She's about three years old and has only known hardship until recently—chained outside her entire life, exposed to every season, never certain where her next meal would come from. That changed when she came to the shelter in Lenexa, KS and experienced an indoor life for the first time. Despite her rough start, Panda is astonishingly sweet and trusting. She gets along with other dogs and welcomes affection from people, always eager for gentle company. Her new world is still overwhelming at times, so a patient adult-only home, or one with older kids, will help her adjust to living inside. Panda isn’t house trained yet, and she’ll need adopters committed to teaching her the basics and letting her settle at her own pace.
