About David
David is a striking, confident Lab mix who quickly wins over everyone he meets. Rescued from the euthanasia list at a high-intake shelter, he weighs in at about 81 lbs and is estimated to be around 3–4 years old. In foster care, David’s mellow, good-natured personality shines. He’s happy lounging around or making people laugh as he parades his favorite toy around the yard—he never misses a chance to carry something in his mouth. David thrives on pack walks and interacts well with other dogs, both males and females, handling introductions smoothly. He’s the type of companion you want along for family outings, hiking trails, or beach trips—just a fun, up-for-anything boy. Like many Labs, he sometimes gets distracted by squirrels and small animals on walks, but he is responsive to gentle corrections and shows improvement as he learns. Please note that David does not get along with cats, but he’s great with children and other dogs. He is neutered, house trained, vaccinated, and fully vetted.
