About Mitchell
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Mitchell, currently enjoying the comforts of a foster home in CT. This lovable 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing around 90 pounds, came into rescue as a puppy, found a family, but sadly returned after facing a rough patch. Since then, Mitchell has rediscovered his sweet and goofy personality, and now he's ready to start a new, happy chapter. Mitchell does well with other non-aggressive dogs but would be best in a home without small children due to his size and enthusiasm—he sometimes forgets just how big he is! He’s crate and house trained, loves hiking, car rides, and is always up for adventure. Mitchell knows his basic commands, eagerly hands out kisses, and is happiest when spending time with his people. Because of his previous mistreatment, an experienced pet parent would be ideal to help him thrive. Give him the loving home he deserves and watch him blossom into your loyal companion. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
