About Mitchell

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Mitchell is a very sweet boy searching for the true, forever love he so deeply deserves. He is a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Great Dane mix with a shiny black, short coat who weighs around 90 lbs, and he has a heart as big as his frame. Mitchell once had a home, but heartbreakingly, he experienced signs of abuse and had to be brought back to rescue for his own safety. This gentle, soulful companion has spent several months regaining confidence and is now finally in a place where he is ready to discover a happy, loving home. Mitchell is most comfortable with women and kind, patient men, and he thrives around other friendly dogs. Because of his size and past experiences, a home without small children is best. While his compatibility with cats is unknown, this affectionate giant is house and kennel trained. He enjoys walks (sometimes pulling a bit in excitement), loves car rides, and is eager to go on hiking adventures. Mitchell is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventatives, and microchipped. He is ready for an adopter willing to show him the gentle, genuine side of love. Fun fact: Born on May 2nd, Mitchell is a Taurus, a sun sign known for being loyal and loving! Ready to become Mitchell’s happy ending? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
