Meet Houdini! Hi there! My name is Houdini—though don’t worry, I’m not actually an escape artist… my people just thought it was a fun name! I’m approximately 3 years old, weigh 76 pounds, and my people think I might be a Shepherd/Husky mix (but that’s just their best guess). What we do know for sure is that I’m a happy, confident, and social guy who loves being part of the action. I’m what you might call a social butterfly—I love everyone I meet and enjoy getting out and about. Whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood or a day out on an adventure, I’m always ready to go! My people say I am a dream on the leash. I do great with other dogs and greet new ones in a calm and respectful way, which makes me an easy addition to many homes. I’ve got great house manners too! I’m house trained and crate trained, and I’m not a destructive guy. You can trust me to relax and hang out when it’s time to unwind. If you’re looking for a companion for big adventures, I’m your guy. Hiking, beach days, maybe even a boat ride—I’m all in. And when the day is done, I’ll be right there with you, happy just to be part of your world. My story started when I wandered up to a rural RV park’s office. At first, people thought I belonged to a guest-but it turned out I was on my own. With no microchip or tags, I never made it back to my original family. Their loss is truly someone else’s gain, because I am one special dog. I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
