Hi, my name is Willie! My estimated birthday is June 22, 2025, and my people think I may be a German Shepherd mix. I was found wandering a rural area with no microchip or ID, so my exact background is a mystery. (And before you ask—we don’t know who my parents are. My breed is just our best guess!). I found myself in the custody of animal control and I am lucky to have made it out. Thank goodness for my wonderful rescue group. They came in and took every single dog that had found themself in doggy jail. All 22 of us got a second lease on life! I’m a super sweet boy who loves to play, snuggle, and nap with my humans. Cuddles are definitely one of my favorite pastimes! I also enjoy playing with toys and would love a toy box full of them—hint, hint. I do well with other dogs and would love to have playmates in my new home. I haven’t been tested with cats yet, but since I’m still young, I could learn to live with one if introduced properly. I’d be happiest with an active family—I’m already learning to walk on a leash and doing great. I am working on my house training and crate training and it’s coming right along. I’m a healthy pup, up to date on vaccines and microchipped, and ready to find my forever family.
