About Alfita
Your new best friend is just one click away. Alfita is a stunning, calm Alaskan Malamute with a lovely red, chestnut, and cream coat—and at 102 pounds, he’s an impressive gentle giant. Born on February 1, 2022, Alfita is a true Aquarius, and his easygoing spirit shines through in all he does. He’s the perfect fit for a peaceful home, as he has a gentle, reserved personality and values tranquil companionship. Alfita’s previous human companion is facing serious health issues, so he’s looking for a loving new family to welcome him. This house-trained boy is wonderful with other dogs and older children, and he greets strangers with friendly curiosity. He’s not suited for a home with cats, as he prefers canine company, and he hasn’t been around young children. Alfita enjoys car rides, walks politely on a leash, and knows basic commands like 'sit' and 'give paw.' He also does well with shorter fences. If you’re searching for a loyal, laid-back companion to share quiet moments with, Alfita could be your perfect match. Consider trying a foster-to-adopt option to ensure you’re both a great fit!
