Meet Junior! Junior is a handsome, 103 lb. Alaskan Malamute born on February 1, 2022. He’s the perfect mix of playful and calm, making him a wonderful companion for the right home. Junior loves attention and enjoys spending time with people, whether it’s relaxing together or going out for a walk. Junior is housetrained and has great manners. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with strangers, so he’s likely to settle in well with visitors and social settings. He rides nicely in the car and walks well on a leash, which makes outings easy and enjoyable. His (human) companion's health concerns is the reason he and others are looking for new homes. Junior already knows a few commands like “sit” and “give paw,” and he’s eager to learn more with positive attention and training. He would do best in a home without cats, as they’re not his thing. He does well with older children, but he hasn’t had experience with very young kids yet. A shorter fence is fine for him, and he’ll be happiest in a home where he can get plenty of love and attention.
