About Arthur
Arthur is a 14-year-old Cocker Spaniel in Raleigh, NC who has weathered a tough past but never lost his easygoing nature. He weighs about 27 lb and enjoys most of his days napping in a cozy bed, only rising slowly to stroll outside with some gentle help. Arthur is housebroken, but his pace means he sometimes needs a little carry to the door; he’ll handle the rest on his own. He’s hard of hearing, blind in one eye, and doesn’t make tears, so he needs daily over-the-counter drops and gel to keep his eyes healthy. Sensitive stomach food keeps him feeling his best—he’s not a big eater, but the right diet makes a difference. Arthur hasn’t been neutered, so he needs a home without unspayed females, and crating stresses him out, so a crate-free life is a must. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and gentle kids, and especially likes a quiet home with someone around much of the day. Arthur’s happiest cuddling up with his foster mom at night and will gladly share a bed. He’s just looking for a calm home and a lap to warm. Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
