About Cj
Your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Cj—a sweet, sensitive, and fun-loving boy who’s ready to bring joy, adventure, and plenty of cuddles into your life! Crate and house trained, Cj is searching for an active, patient family willing to help him build his confidence while making him part of daily adventures. Cj absolutely loves zooming around the house in high-speed stuffie chases, enjoying a good chew toy, and keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood from the front door. He’s happiest joining you as your work-from-home buddy, always ready for a cuddle break with you. When meeting new people, Cj is an exuberant greeter, sometimes so excited that polite hellos are still a work in progress. Since he’s food motivated and gentle with treats, training has been positive and rewarding. To keep him comfortable, Cj takes daily anxiety medication as part of his morning routine. Always up for a new adventure, Cj is reliable in the car and even accompanied his foster family on a road trip to Maine, snoozing contentedly in his crate throughout the drive. For Cj, an ideal home is one that enjoys walks, hiking, and romping near the river—and a yard to run and explore would be a dream come true for him. He is inexperienced with other dogs and, due to his enthusiasm, would do best with slow introductions and playmates who like a rowdy style. At home, Cj’s playful side shines. He occasionally “borrows” soft objects within reach, like toys or shoes, so due to his size and energetic play style, he’s recommended for homes with adults or kids ages 8 and older. As evening comes, he transforms into a true cuddle bug, happiest asleep with his head in your lap on the couch. At bedtime, Cj settles easily and sleeps quietly in his crate all night. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will keep you company, fill your days with play, adventure, and snuggles, Cj may be the perfect companion for your family. Born under the sign of Gemini, he’s as quick-witted and sociable as his sun sign suggests! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
