Skipper and Lucy are a loyal bonded pair, looking for a forever home where they can stay together. Skipper is a white and blonde Jack Russell Terrier mix, around 25 lbs, and Lucy is a petite black and tan Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, weighing about 10 lbs. Both are around 14 years old and were surrendered when their owner could no longer care for them. These two seniors are low-maintenance and crave affection. They love napping and cuddling with each other, happy as long as they have a quiet space and someone to offer them gentle attention. Mornings are slow, but Lucy sometimes still gets a burst of energy and races around. Skipper and Lucy both enjoy short walks and are house-trained, though their age means they appreciate more frequent potty breaks. Apartment life isn't ideal since they can be vocal—they'd do best in a home with cozy bedding and a patient, caring adopter.
