About Tyra
Ever wish you had a loyal sidekick in the bathroom, a built-in taste tester in the kitchen, or a living heated eye mask? Tyra delivers on all fronts. This tiny 5-month-old Chihuahua champions personal space—by ignoring it. Expect her glued to your side, happy as long as she can get even closer. She’s happiest in the thick of things, shadowing her people every step of the way, and is hoping someone wants that kind of constant company. Because she’s small, Tyra sometimes gets overwhelmed and voices her worries, especially in new situations. She’s working on building confidence and would do best with a home ready to encourage her and patiently continue her training. Tyra has shown a tendency to develop urinary crystals, so she’ll need to stay on a prescription diet to keep her healthy. Potty training is still a work in progress—she’s thriving on a schedule and is picking up kennel training at night quickly. Tyra currently lives with a dog, a cat, and a child. She gets along with dogs and respectful, dog-savvy kids, but would prefer a cat-free home; she’s convinced cats are far too sneaky for her taste. Kisses are her go-to greeting, and her loyalty runs deep for her people. Tyra is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Fun fact: With a Sagittarius sun sign, Tyra brings an adventurous and fearless energy to every room. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
