About Vida Boheme
Meet Vida Boheme! This nearly 16-year-old, 20-lb Dachshund and Chihuahua mix exudes charm and warmth wherever she wanders. With her snowy white face and gentle spirit, she embodies the love and loyalty synonymous with her namesake. Vida's perfect day consists of cozy naps, tasty snacks, and plenty of couch cuddles. She's a devoted companion, often following her humans from room to room, eager for affection. Fully house trained, she walks politely on a leash and boasts low energy and minimal grooming needs. While she’s not a fan of the crate, she'll comply if needed, though she prefers snuggling up beside you at bedtime. She gets along well with other dogs and cats but does show some resource guarding tendencies. A little caution is needed when food is involved; she may lunge or bark if other pets get too close. Due to some separation anxiety, Vida will thrive in a home without shared walls, where she can feel secure. Her health does need attention as she’s in the early stages of Cushing's disease, requiring medication that costs about $45-55 monthly. Additionally, she has a sensitive digestive system, necessitating special food and more frequent bathroom breaks. Vida is the kind of companion who looks at you with complete love and devotion. She’s affectionate, loves giving kisses, and is ready to bring sweetness into your life. If you’re looking for a gentle senior queen to grace your home, Vida Boheme is eager to meet you. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
