Zero
AvailableZero is a Rat Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 6 years and 8 months old, with tricolor (brown, black, and white) markings. He is a small, adult, neutered male currently located in Mishawaka, IN. Zero has received all his vaccinations and is dog selective, but generally gets along with others. His history includes being surrendered by a previous owner, and while he takes effective seizure medication, he’s otherwise active and loving.
About Zero
Zero is a small terrier mix who wins people over fast with his loving personality. He’s happiest leaping into your lap for scratches or sprinting after squeaker toys—he’s got tons of energy, and loves returning them for another round. Zero would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and family who stays active. He doesn’t like being confined and isn’t thrilled with kennels, though he can be kenneled if needed; a heavy-duty crate works best if that’s required. But honestly, Zero just wants a space to explore and be close to his humans. Zero came to the rescue when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Right now he’s up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and doing extremely well on seizure medication. His meds are effective—he just needs routine checkups to stay healthy. Zero interacts nicely with most other dogs but can get a bit possessive with food or toys, so keep an eye out for that. He enjoyed a recent shelter event and did great with people and dogs. If a playful, affectionate little dog sounds like a fit for your life, Zero deserves the chance to meet you. Click apply to start the adoption process.
