About Aries

Aries is the kind of young pup that turns heads with those big, pixie-like ears and an eager, playful streak. He’s energetic, a little bit goofy, and always curious—pretty much a classic puppy vibe through and through. Right now, he weighs about 25 lbs and likely won’t get much bigger, which makes him a good size for most homes, though he isn’t a fit for apartment living given he can get anxious when left alone or confined for long periods. In his foster home, Aries has picked up manners by watching the resident dogs and gets along well with them—wrestling, tug-of-war, and romping are his specialties. He’s learning to coexist with cats and already does well around children. At night, Aries sleeps in a crate but would happily swap that for a spot under your covers if you let him. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and house trained, making him a ready addition for the right family. He’s available for foster-to-adopt in the Chicago area.
