About Daffy
Daffy is a 2-year-old, 30-pound Rat Terrier/Beagle mix who recently made her way from Tennessee after her previous rescue closed. She arrived with Minnie, and both narrowly escaped a tough fate when they needed immediate help. Daffy’s the shyer of the two—she tends to hunker down if approached too quickly, but when you sit quietly, she’ll come over and ask for some gentle attention. New things, like the television, grab her curiosity (sometimes she’ll bark at it), and she’s still learning what it’s like to live inside a home. With encouragement, Daffy’s showing her playful, inquisitive side and growing more comfortable. She needs a patient adopter ready to help her gain confidence and feel safe. She loves being petted and will thrive in a calm home that lets her come out of her shell at her own pace. Give her a bit of time and love, and Daffy will reward you with deep loyalty and companionship. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
