Meet Noel! Noel is a 3-4 year old, 40 pound Pittie mix with a heart as big as her personality. Noel is the definition of devoted. She absolutely adores her people and forms a deep, loyal bond with her humans. If you're looking for a dog who will think you hung the moon, happily follow you from room to room, and snuggle under the blankets at the end of the day, Noel is your girl. Noel is fully house trained and crate trained, and she genuinely enjoys her crate as her cozy, safe space. She does wonderfully when left in her designated area and is generally not destructive. While she can be a little vocal when she wants attention, it's simply her way of "talking" to her favorite people. She's affectionate, goofy, and just the right amount of dramatic to keep you smiling. She takes treats gently, greets strangers kindly both in and outside of the home, and isn't reactive to neighborhood dogs barking around her. Energy-wise, Noel is more couch companion than endurance athlete. She enjoys a couple of daily zoomie sessions and leisurely walks where she can sniff to her heart's content, but she's perfectly happy spending most of her day napping, chewing on a collagen roll, or working hard to de-fluff and de-squeaker her stuffed toys. Snuggling and toy "surgery" are truly her specialties. Noel would thrive as the center of attention in her home. She prefers calm, respectful canine interactions and would do best as the only dog or with very thoughtful introductions and management. She may chase cats in a playful way but not to harm, and would do best with dog-savvy cats. Because she can get a little enthusiastic with her affectionate "love nips," an adult home or one with older children would be ideal. Noel has had surgery to repair a torn CCL and has recovered beautifully. Due to her structure, it's possible her other knee may need attention in the future, so she's looking for a committed family who will continue to support her health. In return, she offers unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a lifetime of love. Noel isn't just looking for a place to live, she's looking for her person. The one who appreciates a talkative cuddle bug, who doesn't mind sharing blankets and who wants a best friend who will love them with her whole heart.
