Invincible Simon is a remarkable survivor. He was once paralyzed after being struck by a car, but today, he's thriving and full of life. Rescued in September 2025, Simon's journey has been nothing short of inspiring. He fought back against the odds and now walks, full of spirit, moving through life with a joy that’s infectious. Maintaining his bladder requires assistance about four to five times daily, but he makes this process manageable by following the routine effortlessly. With every passing day, we see hope for further improvement in his nerve function. Simon is incredibly smart, displaying the intelligence typical of a herding breed. He’s a true companion, following you everywhere and even joining you for a shower if you let him. His reddish, medium-length coat shines as bright as his enduring smile, which he has kept through every challenge. With a well-balanced energy level, Simon loves to play—often with the house cat—but he also appreciates moments of relaxation near his favorite humans. At around 3 years old and weighing about 25 lbs, he is fully vetted, crate-trained, and comfortable roaming a home without constraints. He’s friendly with everyone: dogs, cats, and kids alike. No special medications are required, just good dry food for a healthy tummy. While he may not be the “perfect” dog according to an arbitrary checklist, he exceeds expectations in resilience and emotional connection, proving to be a loyal friend who won’t give up on those he loves.
