About Looney Eyes Luiggi
Meet Looney Eyes Luiggi—his gaze is famously set on Mayagüez while his spirit seems to drift off toward Vieques. Around 4 years old, Luiggi is pure Puerto Rican original, a mix of Black Labrador Retriever and Whippet with short black and cream fur. He's an entertainer, always finding ways to make people laugh with his playful, goofy streaks. There's real charm behind those quirky eyes—Luiggi lights up every space he's in. Shelter staff say he's a very clean dog, with no nighttime accidents and a good routine of spending days outdoors and nights in cozy sleeping quarters. While it's not certain if he's fully house trained, he makes a strong case for himself in the tidiness department. In the shelter, he hasn't shown any aggression to people of any age. Staff don't know how he'd do living with children in a home, so slow intros and close supervision are key if you have kids. Luiggi also gets along with both dogs and cats, which opens up more options for the right home. Ready to bring some island humor (and good looks) into your life?
