Animal Information: Mr . Red is a sweet, older gentleman who found himself at the shelter when his owner moved into assisted living. He lived with other dogs in that home. According to our partners, this guy is everything you want in a low-maintenance companion—calm, gentle, and just happy to be near his people. He’s kennel trained, dog friendly, and so very gentle taking food and treats. Foster Profile: Mr. Red is ready to be your official lap warmer. This older guy just wants a warm lap, a lot of cuddles, and some fuzzy blankets to burrow in. He's spending his days lounging around or listening to the outside world through the window. He's a professional people-watcher and is truly in his golden years. Mr. Red is learning leash manners as he doesn't seem to have had a lot of experience, but he doesn't pull. He's friendly with the dog in his foster home, but doesn't necessarily need another dog. If you're looking for a low energy boy to shower with love, Mr. Red may be your guy.
