Animal Information: Pearl is an estimated 4 year-old Chihuahua who arrived with her 2 week old puppies. We will share more as we get to know them. Foster Profile: Pearl is a sweet and lovable, though she tends to be standoffish when initially meeting new people and will bark, she will come around if given some time. She loves being with her person and is happy to just curl up on her dog bed close by while you work. She is good with resident dogs and cats . She likes to play with toys and run zoomies around the house. She has learned to use the dog door, but not a fan of the rain so we do make regular visits outside on rainy days. Pea​rl will need a patient family that is not looking for instant gratification. If you have patience and experience with shy dogs she is loyal and loving once she trusts you. Please note that she can be a bit vocal, likes to alert the houshold whenever something is going on, because of this she would not be an ideal fit for an apartment setting.
