Animal Information: Bambi is a 3-year-old chihuahua mix that weighs 15lbs. Even though she was scared when our partners first rescued her, she’s been incredibly sweet, calm, and gentle. She keeps her space clean, hasn’t had a single accident in her kennel, and really just wants a soft, safe place to rest. Bambi just needs a quiet, patient home where she can take things at her own pace and learn that people are safe. She’s not the kind of dog who is instantly the life of the party. She’s the kind you get to watch grow into herself. Bambi has been hanging out in the office with our rescue partners while she waits for transport, and has been getting along great with the other dogs. Foster Profile: Meet Bambi! This little girl is ready to be your adventure buddy. She is settling in nicely in her foster home and has taken quite the liking to her daily walks. She's still learning leash manners since she is so curious, but takes to correction quickly. She loves her crate and goes in without a fight. Bambi is good with dogs, people, and loves her foster family. Bambi loves head and belly scratches and will close her eyes and throw her head back seemingly think "ah, this is the good life." She also loves singing along to sirens passing her foster home. From a shelter favorite to a foster favorite, this girl is beyond ready for her forever home.
