About Oreo
Oreo is a petite blue tricolor Beagle, weighing about 15lbs and standing just 10 inches tall—easily liftable in one arm. At 2 years old, she's still on the shy side, but shows gentle, sweet moments as she settles in. Oreo came in with her family pack of Beagles and is used to a life with other dogs and children. So far, she gets along well with dogs and kids, but her experience with cats is unknown. She's still crate trained but hasn't learned house training yet, since she spent most of her previous life outdoors. Oreo is not yet confident on leash and will need continued training and patience as she transitions to being a good indoor companion. Expect a little time for her to blossom out of her timid nature—steadily socializing her will help. Oreo is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She will be ready for adoption once she has recovered from surgery. Preference will be given to a caring home ready to help her finish her transition to life indoors. Pick-up is in San Ysidro, CA, but transportation can be discussed for the right match. Click apply to start the adoption process.
