About Roxy Jones
Roxy Jones is a survivor, having come through serious injuries after being hit by a car. Her former owner almost gave up, but Roxy caught a second wind with help from a dedicated rescue and is now healing in a loving foster home. Despite a rough start, Roxy never lost her sweet nature—she charms everyone she meets, greeting visitors with tail wags and patience. At about 35 lbs., she’s beagle-sized, and her foster describes her as resilient and food-motivated, with a comical knack for tracking down interesting smells around the house. Roxy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys sharing space with the resident canine, though she’s a bit too interested in cats, so a feline-free home is best. Her recovery after surgery has been steady, with weekly splint changes on her front leg, and she’s proven adaptable and spirited the whole way. Roxy likes to sunbathe when she’s not napping or keeping a watchful eye on her home, and her protective side comes out with new people or changes in routine. Underneath it all, she’s gentle and easy to live with—she fits right in and isn’t demanding. Born March 27, she’s an Aries, and her perseverance suits the sign well. With so much love to give, Roxy is ready to meet the person who’ll let her finish her golden years in comfort. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
