Though a bit overweight currently, she’s in need of an owner who can help her reach a healthier weight and provide a loving indoor home.
About Coco
Coco’s a small blue tricolor Beagle who spent most of her early life living outdoors in San Diego. Her previous family had to surrender Coco and her three Beagle companions because their busy schedule didn’t leave enough time for the dogs. At about 3 years old, Coco is a bit overweight for her petite size (about 13" tall, currently 35 lbs but should be closer to 25 lbs). She starts out shy but warms up quickly and is genuinely affectionate once she’s comfortable. Coco is gentle with children—she grew up with kids in her last home—and gets along well with other dogs, having always lived with them. Coco isn’t yet potty trained since she was kept outside, but she’s crate trained and will adapt with patience and guidance inside a home. Her temperament is mellow rather than high-energy, and she’s more likely to seek out a comfy spot than constant excitement. She’s up to date on vaccinations and spayed, with basic vet care provided as part of her adoption. She’s currently being treated for a minor ear infection and will be ready for a home soon. Pick up is in San Diego, but transport can be arranged for the right family. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
