Happy Spring! Warmer weather is finally on it's way and so is Kitten Season! We need to make room for new Moms and kittens so they can be fixed and get them forever homes! My name is Fuji and I’m a sleek, minipanther looking for a new home! Once I had a home but it was with a lot of other kitties and we weren't taken care of very well. It was hard getting attention or even enough food. I’ve left all that behind and I'm sure happy to have a new start. I am looking forward to a life where I’m the center of someone’s world. I’m a gentle, sensitive kitty and I'm learning that the world can be a safe and quiet place! I can be shy but everyday I get a little braver and show more of my sweet personality! With so much spare time, not looking for food, I found that I love to play! I LOVE jingly balls and go crazy with multiple ones! I also LOVE wet kitty food with my dry food! Playing and eating are the best but I'd really like to have a person and home of my own! I’ve been learning that pets are actually pretty amazing and I love to get more every day! Once I feel comfortable I’ll be your sweet companion with purrs and a lifetime of love. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months.
