Happy Holidays! Winter came early this year & so did the cold & snow. We desperately need to make room to get even MORE Moms, kittens and other cats in from the freezing temps & get them fixed, so they don't have to suffer. We get multiple calls for help everyday but can only help more when more we have get homes. Please consider adopting! And tell your friend to adopt too! I'm not getting any younger. When I was a kitten, my siblings and I were brought in from outside. We were all a little unsure at first but after seeing all the food and toys we were all convinced the inside life was the one for us! I was the the most shy so my siblings found homes before me. I got a hine but now I'm without a hine again I've seen my siblings and lots of my friends get homes, so I hope I don't have to wait tooing again. Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them no one will hurt them. However, when they go to a new home, some kitties will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months.
