About Coco
Coco is a domestic short-haired brown tabby with striking, expressive eyes. At around 3 years old, heās already neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Heās an indoor-only cat currently staying at Griffith Animal Control in Highland, Northwest Indiana. Despite once having a home (his person couldnāt take him along), Coco has adapted to shelter life but still longs for a place and people of his own. Heās grateful not to be on the streets like so many, and he appreciates every bit of care, wet food, and petting the shelter provides. When Coco gets loved on, he lets you know with a happy, shaking tail! Coco likes a good balance of playfulness and downtime. While he may be a tad shy at first, he warms up fastāespecially if you come with gentle affection. He gets along well with other cats and would make a fine companion if you already have a feline friend at home. He should do well with older children, though heās never lived with dogs. Coco enjoys his own space but truly comes alive with the prospect of a loving, steady home. The rescue does important work with cats who might need a little patience or a slower introduction, and Cocoās looking for someone familiar with cats or willing to give him time to settle in. If youāre willing to offer that, youāll be gaining a loyal companion. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
