Every adoption truly saves two lives and brings hope to more cats in need. Coco is a domestic short-haired brown tabby with the biggest and most endearing eyes. He's a neutered male, about 3 years old, and up to date on all his vaccinations. Coco is looking for an indoor-only home and is currently available through Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland, Northwest Indiana. He had a home, but his person had to move and couldn't take him along. Despite this, Coco stays positive—he appreciates the kindness at the shelter and enjoys his wet food, but dreams of snuggling up in a forever home. Coco may be a little shy at first, but he'll soon warm up if you give him the chance. He loves to play, soak up pets (watch his tail get wiggly!), and relishes attention. He would likely do well with another cat companion and is likely fine with older children. If you're looking for a big, hunky, affectionate kitty who is playful yet calm, Coco could be your perfect match. Griffith Animal Control and Treasured Friends Animal Rescue are dedicated to helping shy or unsocialized cats gain confidence and find loving homes. Some cats may take a little longer to adjust to new surroundings, but patience, commitment, and kindness are all they need.
