Gala
AvailableGala is a black domestic short hair/Bombay mix with a short coat and a medium build. He is an adult neutered male who is house trained and up to date on his vaccinations. Gala is currently in Griffith, IN and is looking for an indoor-only home where his gentle nature and skill at making 'biscuits' will be appreciated.
About Gala
Gala is a classic biscuit-maker who takes the art seriously—if you’ve ever wanted a cat who’ll knead away on your lap, you won’t find anyone more committed to the craft. He’s a black domestic shorthair, neutered, vaccinated, and around 3 years old, now enjoying life as an indoor-only cat in Griffith, IN after a rough spell outdoors. Gala’s easy to spot at the rescue, often in his 'room,' paws busy and purring, especially when there’s a new human to charm. He loves attention, welcomes pets, and won’t say no to playtime either. Gala should do well with another cat if properly introduced, and he’d likely be fine with gentle older kids. No word yet on how he feels about dogs, so caution there. Gala really opens up with people willing to go slow and let him get comfortable at his own pace—if you know your way around cats and appreciate a reserved, sweet temperament, he’ll return the patience with plenty of affection (plus all the “biscuits” you can handle). Looking for a kind home with someone ready to commit for the long haul. Your application is his invitation to bake. This could be the start of something paw-some.
