About Whippet Dogs

Whippets are elegant, athletic sighthounds that combine lightning speed with a calm, gentle temperament. Often called "poor man's racehorses," they're graceful sprinters who love short bursts of intense running followed by long naps. Their sleek build and sweet nature make them wonderful companions.

Adopting a Whippet means gaining a quiet, affectionate housemate who transforms into a joyful athlete outdoors. They're gentle with children, get along well with other dogs, and their calm indoor manners make them excellent apartment dogs. Their low-maintenance coats and clean habits are a bonus.
