I was dropped off at the South LA Shelter and I don’t know why but I spent these last 6 weeks being the best mama and now that my babies have all found wonderful homes, it’s my time to shine and find a furever home of my own. First things first, I’m admittedly a cutie and I think that I am a chiweenie and maybe even have some miniature pinscher. I have chocolate brown, seal like fur and the biggest ears you have ever seen (ok maybe not ever, but they are quite large for my cute little face!). Most importantly, you must know my biggest obsession and weakness - TOYS!!! Squeaky toys are my kryptonite but I’ll play with anything floppy, soft, round - basically anything you can throw and I can chase and take back to my lair - I’m basically Ariel from Little Mermaid with my trove of treasures. I know you’re wondering so we are going to get it out of the way - I’m not 100% potty trained yet, but I won’t potty in my playpen and usually will hold it until I go outside but I’ve had the occasional accident. My foster mom and dad have been training me well and I expect to be fully trained soon! They are also working with me to learn to sit and I’m pretty good at responding to my name (except when I’m in the midst of a toy obsession!). I am a little scared of men but if they take things slow, allow me to see that they are safe, then I will give my trust - sometimes it takes an hour, sometimes a day. Remember, I just had babies so I was overly protective during that time, so this could be something that fades away with time naturally. I have spent time in my foster home with two senior dogs close to my size and two cats. I love going on walks with my doggie pack and learn from their mannerisms quickly. But given my toy obsession, I wouldn’t do well with anyone with toy aggression. I have blossomed into such sweetie girl these last several weeks and I would be happy to find my safe place and people. Expect lots of playtime but also, be ready for cuddles because I LOVE those too. So is this a deal or noodle?
