About January
Meet January. At just four months old, she already knows survival—and now, she’s learning what it means to be safe. January’s first months were spent in transitional housing amid the unpredictability of Skid Row, where noise and chaos were the constants. When her person took steps toward a healthier life, January and her tiny companion Snowball landed in the care of people determined to show them better. Today, January’s world is quieter. She has grass under her paws, regular meals, and a foster who’s patient as she figures out play, trust, and the simple joy of puppyhood. She’s a small, short-haired Chihuahua, white and brown, and she’s finally getting the chance to act her age. January gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a flexible fit for many homes. She’s house trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her past was harsh, but her future doesn’t have to be. Give January the stable, loving home she’s never had. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
