About Sassafrass

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sassafras came to us with her littermates. Each was sponsored by a bar in Philly and our Sassafras was named after Sassafras Bar in Old City. This petite tabico will snuggle up and purr away. She loves to play - with the other kittens and interactively with visitors and volunteers. She will need to go with one of our kittens or have an appropriate Kitty already in the Home. About Calico Cats

Calico is not a breed but a tri-color coat pattern featuring patches of white, black, and orange (or their dilute versions). Calico cats are almost always female due to the genetics of coat color being linked to the X chromosome. Found across many breeds and mixed-breed cats, calicos are beloved for their bold, patchwork beauty.

Adopting a calico cat means welcoming a uniquely marked companion whose personality is shaped by their individual breed heritage and background.
