Butter is an adorable sweetie of a kitten who was born outside and lived on the Philly streets until she was 4 months old. Now 6 months old, she's adjusting well to the comforts of indoor living and starting to learn to trust and even enjoy being around human company. She has the most gentle nature and is never aggressive. She can be a bit timid, though, and will need someone who can give her the time, patience, and consistency she needs to feel safe coming out of her shell. Butter is a champ at using her litter box, loves her churu, and has some of the funniest fully-sprawled sleep positions her foster has ever seen. She LOVES to play with toys, especially enjoying chasing balls and small catnip toys, and she'll go after wand toys until her foster's arm gets tired out! She has just started to realize the greatness of head and butt skritches, and will solicit them cautiously, on her own terms. Butter needs a human who will believe in her enough to devote the time and energy to help her feel safe in her new home so she can continue to make progress in learning to trust, love, and be loved.
