About Butter
Butter is a gentle, sweet 6-month-old Calico kitten who spent her first months outdoors on the streets of Philadelphia. Now safely indoors, she's gradually learning to trust people, showing more curiosity and even enjoying careful affection at times. Her nature is calm—never aggressive—but she tends to be shy around new situations, so she does best with someone willing to offer patience, steady encouragement, and a peaceful environment. Even so, Butter's playful streak is strong. She loves batting around small balls, catnip toys, and goes wild for wand games until her foster is exhausted. Her goofy sleeping positions and love of treats like churu bring lots of joy to those around her. She's a litter box pro and slowly exploring the joys of head and butt scratches—always deciding when she's ready for attention. Butter will thrive with a caregiver who understands how to help her blossom at her own pace, using toys, treats, and a soft touch to build trust. Note: Butter needs a cat friend. If you don’t already have one, planning to adopt two is required for your application to move forward. Click apply to start the adoption process.
