About Pegasus
Pegasus is a striking young tortie-calico with a gentle nature and a past that shapes her current sweetness. At around a year old, she’s come so far since her days being trapped outside in the cold. She can be quiet and a little shy at first, but she never shows aggression—just a cautious, thoughtful demeanor. Pegasus earned her unique name thanks to a rare birth condition: she was born with just one kidney and a one-horned uterus, but the vet isn’t worried about her quality of life going forward, so neither should you. Pegasus has found her groove in foster care. She enjoys pets—especially at mealtime—curiously inspects her humans, and gets a kick out of interactive toys. She’s shown that she gets along beautifully with other cats, and she could flourish with a feline buddy or as a solo cat in a calm, patient household. Her confidence has grown each week, but she still needs someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace. Pegasus would do best in a quieter home where she can finally relax and open up fully. If you’re looking for a gentle and quirky companion who’s so close to blossoming into her best self, Pegasus just might win you over. Adoption fees are sponsored for this special girl.
